About FoMO
FoMO took shape during the cold winter months of 2026, when a small circle of musicians gathered to imagine a new future for Chinese music in the Greater Toronto Area. They dreamed of an ensemble that could push artistic boundaries, raise expectations, and generate a renewed sense of purpose. Just as importantly, they longed for a musical home, a place built on belonging, trust, transparency, and genuine connection.
FoMO is the result—it is a forward‑looking ensemble 110% committed to redefining what Chinese music can be.
